  • To tell you the truth I must trust you more than I do

If I tell you the truth you might say we're through

    My catch-22

She said "I don't care where you've been

    I don't care what you've done

I don't care what went on when you were young and dumb and chasing numb

Just look me in the eyes and don't go telling lies

Leave me open wide on down the road for a big surprise

All you've gotta do to stay is tell the truth

I don't know what to do

    I'm crazy about you

    But I'm damned if I don't

    Damned if I do

    My catch-22

To tell you the truth I must trust you more

She said "I don't care where you've been

    I don't care what you've done

I don't care what went on at 19th and 10th or Boca Raton

Just look me in the eyes and don't go telling any lies

Leave me open wide on down the road for a big surprise

All you've gotta do to stay is tell that truth

I don't know what to do

    I'm crazy about you

    But I'm damned if I don't

    Damned if I do

    My catch-22

She leads me over to the bed

Runs her fingers through my hair

Tells me don't be scared, she'll understand

She lays her head upon my chest

Some kind of lie detector test

My heart is pumping thump, thu-thump

    Thu-thump thump thump thump thump

    Thump thump thu-thu-thu-thump

To tell you the truth I must trust you more than I do

I don't know what to do

    I'm crazy about you

    But I'm damned if I don't

    Damned if I do

    My catch-22

I know just what to do

    I'm so crazy about you

But if I can't tell the truth

What good am I to you?

    My catch-22

    I told you the truth

It turns out so did you

    We caught 22

The River

Single — 2023

  • I've got something really special to share. 25 years ago (almost to the day), my Dad and I stood together on the stage at Fillmore Central School, performing Garth Brooks' timeless classic, "The River." It was a memory that's resonated with me through all these years.

Now, we've taken a trip down memory lane and recorded our own rendition of "The River." Set to release this Father's Day, it's a tribute to my Dad and that memorable performance.

Here's the best part - you can now pre-save the song and get a little preview. I hope it flows right into your playlists and becomes a part of your own music journey. Here's to following our dreams and sailing our vessels, even when the river runs dry. 🎵🚣‍♂️

  • Written By: Garth Brooks

  • [Verse 1]

You know a dream is like a river

    Ever changin' as it flows

    And a dreamer's just a vessel

That must follow where it goes

Trying to learn from what's behind you

And never knowing what's in store

Makes each day a constant battle

Just to stay between the shores

    [Chorus]

And I will sail my vessel

    'Til the river runs dry

Like a bird upon the wind

    These waters are my sky

    I'll never reach my destination

    If I never try

So, I will sail my vessel

    'Til the river runs dry

    [Verse 2]

Too many times we stand aside

And let the waters slip away

Till what we put off till tomorrow

    Has now become today

So don't you sit upon the shoreline

    And say you're satisfied

    Choose to chance the rapids

And dare to dance the tide

    [Chorus]

Yes, I will sail my vessel

    'Til the river runs dry

Like a bird upon the wind

    These waters are my sky

    I'll never reach my destination

    If I never try

So, I will sail my vessel

    'Til the river runs dry

    [Bridge]

And there's bound to be rough waters

And I know I'll take some falls

But with the good Lord as my captain

I can make it through them all

    [Chorus]

Yes, I will sail my vessel

    'Til the river runs dry

Like a bird upon the wind

    These waters are my sky

    I'll never reach my destination

    If I never try

So, I will sail my vessel

    'Til the river runs dry

Making Up time

Single — 2023

  • Written By: Patrick Barry

  • A Fall breeze passes through the trees
We're laying on our backs like we did when we were kids
Finding animals in clouds that drift like passing ships

    I'll run forever

Making up for lost time that I missed with you

Expand the seconds of a sunset gaze

I can't turn back time but I can savor these days and

Replace the pain of all the memories that we never made, such a shame

I don't know where I'm going to but I know I'm going with you

And I'll never look back again

I've got a feeling fate paved the way

    I'll run forever

Making up for lost time that I missed with you

    Or I'll lie here forever

Making up for lost time that I missed with you

    I missed with you

I was such a dumb kid

I never should have left the porch

Ya begging "please please stay" when I left for the corps

I was such a lost kid

    Terrified and insecure

I missed 15 years and then I lost 17 more

You know life's funny like this

You're chasing down something you'd never quit

Sometimes to speed up and make up ground

    You gotta slow down

    I'll run forever

Making up for lost time that I missed with you

    Or I'll lie here forever

Making up for lost time that I missed with you

    I'll run forever

Making up for lost time that I missed with you

    Or I'll lie here forever

Making up for lost time that I missed with you

    I missed with you

    I missed with you

    I missed with you

    I missed with you

YOU GOT IT

Single — 2022

  • This song has a bit of a personal backstory. I remember hearing for the first time when I was an 8 year old that loved to sing...and it's stuck with me ever since. What makes it even more special is that it is the recording debut of my 17 year old stepson Judah on bass.

I also only realized recently that Tom Petty (my wife walked down the aisle to "Here Comes My Girl" if that tells you the kind of fans we are) co-wrote the song with Roy and Jeff Lynne during the Traveling Willbury's era. It was released posthumously on January 3, 1989, after Orbison's death from a heart attack on December 6, 1988.

Thanks y'all! I'm wrapping up a few new songs I've written to be released this year and practicing for some live shows. Can't wait to share it all with you!

  • Lyrics:

Every time I look into your loving eyes

I see a love that money just can't buy

One look from you, I drift away

I pray that you are here to stay

Anything you want, you got it

Anything you need, you got it

Anything at all, you got it, baby

Every time I hold you I begin to understand

Everything about you tells me I'm your man

    I live (I live)

    My life (my life)

    To be (To be)

    With you (with you)

    No one (no one)

    Can do (can do)

    The things (the things)

    You do (you do)

Anything you want, you got it

Anything you need, you got it

Anything at all, you got it, baby

Anything you want (you got it)

Anything you need (you got it)

    Anything at all

    Do-do-do-do-doo (oh)

    Do-do-do-do-doo (oh, yeah)

    Do-do-do-do-doo (yeah, yeah, yeah)

    (You got it)

I'm glad to give my love to you

I know you feel the way I do

Anything you want, you got it

Anything you need, you got it

Anything at all, you got it, baby

Anything you want, you got it

Anything you need, you got it

Anything at all, you got it, baby

Anything at all (you got it)

    Baby

Coffee in the Morning

Single — 2020

  • Not your typical love song ☕🌞❤

Set to debut on 2/14/21, this song is dedicated to my wife and kids (and dogs) for the incredible life they have given me. Once again, my wildly talented stepdaughter Eden Reitnour made my words come to life by directing, animating, creating and edited this lyric video.

    Mastered by Tom Ruff

  • She said “Maybe you’re not cut out for this

Real life ain’t what you think it is

It’s pots and pans and middle school band

    And mortgage payments”

I said “Baby I don’t care what it is

You’re the most beautiful thing that ever lived

    It might not be pretty

    The nitty gritty

    But we’ll make it fit”

When I found out what you meant

It made me want you even more

True love is not the overused fairytale cliché

It’s exonerated by the beauty in the everyday mundane

It’s the subtle sparks that burst my every capillary, artery and vein

When I make you coffee in the morning

Pour you a glass of wine at night

    We fall asleep holding hands

    This is the good life

She said “Baby I think you’re fooling yourself

There’s more to this than just playing house

Cross country meets and a roof that leaks

    And never ending laundry heaps”

Well, maybe I’m in over my head

The dogs, the kids, the bills, the mess

They’re not the cost, they’re the big payoff

I’m loving it with every breath

I found out what you meant

And now I want you even more

True love is not the overused fairytale cliché

It’s exonerated by the beauty in the everyday mundane

It’s the subtle sparks that burst my every capillary, artery and vein

When I make you coffee in the morning

Pour you a glass of wine at night

    We fall asleep holding hands

    That’s living the good life

Most nights I’d lie awake and question what it all meant

With you I’ll never wonder again

True love is not the overused fairytale cliché

It’s exonerated by the beauty in the everyday mundane

It’s the subtle sparks that burst my every capillary, artery and vein

When I make you coffee in the morning

Pour you a glass of wine at night

    We fall asleep holding hands

    Living the good life

True love is not the overused fairytale cliché

It’s exonerated by the beauty in the everyday mundane

It’s the subtle sparks that burst my every capillary, artery and vein

When I make you coffee in the morning

Pour you a glass of wine at night

    We fall asleep holding hands

    That’s living the good life

    We’re living the good life

    This is the good life
